Need Help Taking your Freelancing to the Next Level?

I know what it’s like to be a new freelance writer — or even just someone wishing to become a freelance writer — and not knowing where to begin, how to start or what next step to take after you’ve had a little success.

I also understand the trials of the full-time freelancer, trying to make more money, do more in less time, crack higher-paying markets, or even trying to get the fun back into a business that used to be great but is now just blah.

If you’re in one of these situations — or anywhere in between — working with me can help.

Topics for coaching

As a freelance coach I can help you with all aspects of your writing career, including but not limited to:

  • Finding more clients
  • Coming up with more story ideas
  • Positioning yourself as an expert in your niche
  • Making your pitches more successful
  • Avoiding writing scams and fake jobs
  • Making what you’re worth
  • Getting over your lack of confidence
  • Finding a better way to organize your business
  • Successfully transitioning to full-time freelancing
  • Dealing with overwhelm and burnout
  • Developing multiple streams of income

No matter what your current hurdle is, coaching can help. I work with clients at all stages of their freelance writing careers, from the very beginning to those who are already freelancing full-time. I can help you make the most of where you are and propel you forward to success.

How Coaching Works

I love to do e-mail coaching with freelancers because I know how busy you are. You might be working a job outside the home 40 hours a week and trying to squeeze in your assignments during evenings and weekends.

It might be impossible for you to get to the phone at a particular time every week. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to benefit from coaching.

My coaching program allows you to send me questions, concerns, ideas, or whatever you want by e-mail, up to 20 times a month (that’s five e-mails per week, or one almost every working day!). I’ll respond and provide you with further information to look into within 24 hours on weekdays.

Ask me for help on topics such as:

  • finding markets
  • developing interview questions
  • cleaning out your files
  • setting goals
  • deciding on the topic for your first book
  • staying accountable
  • getting started
  • eliminating fear
  • or whatever else you need to help grow your business

I am dedicated to motivating you and providing you with all the information you need to make your freelancing business a success. If you find yourself stuck because you don’t know how to get started, fear success or just feel like you don’t have the time your business needs, I can present you with solutions and encouragement that will keep you going. And if you just need to be accountable to someone to send out your queries and keep moving forward, I can do that, too.

If you need help with the nuts and bolts of writing, whether it’s a query, an article, a book proposal or any other short writing piece, I can help you clarify your ideas and sharpen your writing so that your finished products says exactly what you mean it to say.

Coaching is probably too simple a term for what it is I offer. This is like having a mentor who has been there and done that right at your fingertips, whenever you need her, up to 20 times a month.

We’ll have a month-long discussion of whatever you need help with, whether it’s the motivation to get started, inspiration to keep going, or hard facts to help you understand what it is you need to do to meet your goals.

I recently heard coaching described basically as getting someone to get you to do what you already know you need to do. That’s a big part of it, but you also need to know how to do what you know you need to do. That’s where I come in.

I’ll be your coach, mentor, cheerleader, butt-kicker and font of knowledge on navigating the ins and outs of freelance life for just $200 a month. Compare to other life coaches who charge $1,000 or more a month for coaching, and may not even have experience with the major life change you’re trying to make happen in your life, and you’re getting quite the bargain.

Not sure if coaching is right for you? Send me an e-mail (sarah@freelance-coach.com) detailing your situation and your needs (give me as much or as little information as you like) and I’ll let you know what you can expect. Consider it a trial coaching “session” for free.

As you can imagine, spots are very limited and the price may rise without notice when things start to get too crazy around here, so take advantage of this awesome way to jumpstart your freelance career today!
